So here it is… November again. Two years ago at this time, I was waddling around, wondering when my little bundle of joy was going to arrive. He wasn’t quite as little as we thought, but he certainly has been a joy. I know, mushy mama stuff, huh.
I’ve been in a slump recently — as if you couldn’t tell. I need to get back to writing every day, and I’m hoping that participating in NaBloPoMo will help. If you’re not familiar, Eden Kennedy started this as an alternative to NaNoWriMo. I think that writing a post every day is a little more doable than writing a novel in a month. Even though I’ve tried to participate in NaNoWriMo every year, I’ve never come close to finishing. Instead, I’m going to work on projects as I can, without the pressure of writing 1667 words a day for 30 days (especially with a family holiday thrown in there).
Something more reasonable to me would be, say… 200 words a day. Now that’s something I think I can handle. So here we go. I’m going to try NaBloPoMo (which I have also failed pretty much every year) again. It’s a good incentive, if nothing else.
So tell me, are any of you participating?

I am working on it too. I just started my blog last June and I’m finally getting around to putting some real effort. I am hoping that this months worth of writing will help me hone in on exactly where I want to take my blog.
Erin W.´s last blog ..Halloweerd!
Cool Erin! I’m hoping that I get into some good habits. And I need to put less pressure on myself. Sometimes, short vignettes are okay instead of long posts. I have to keep reminding myself of that. It helps! If it morphs into something longer, so be it.
