western union sent its very last telegram friday. wow. although i knew telegrams aren’t used much anymore, after 150 years, they have been completely fazed out. something else goes into the annals of history.
i guess i’ll have to find another way to tell my family about my plans to take over the world. i just had a meeting about that this morning. if only i’d known… we could have made an alternate communication plan!

i am cold all the time. all the time!
geez, watch me turn into a popsicle if we ever stay in missouri for an extended time. i’ll be like the little guy in a christmas story. my arms won’t go down to my sides, i’ll just finish getting dressed and have to go pee (wait, that already happens!), and you won’t be able to see my face because of the eleventy-million mufflers i’ll be wearing.
so, the coldness. i wish i could fix it. i drink coffee. eat soup. wear sweaters. and gloves. gloves! to type on my computer. it’s getting old. or maybe i’m getting old and that’s the problem. i tweaked my shoulder the other day just pulling a bag strap over my shoulder. this falling apart thing sucks!
