who knew? i’ve started using google desktop on my computer at work. i wasn’t sure if i’d like it, or if it’d even be useful.

know what? it totally is. can’t find an email? search for it. outlook only searches by mail folder. google searches everything. i can find e-mail much faster this way, by typing in the keywords i know are in the e-mail. i have a lot of folders, drives, email folders, and junk. over the last few days, it has saved me a lot of searching for files and emails (because my memory is bad and i can’t always remember where i filed something). seriously. i think i like it.

i may just keep it.

now, if only they could search my desktop for my pen…

sometimes i just wish i were a hermit. maybe it would be easier.

to the two obnoxious twits that sat behind me in geology last night.

i don’t want to hear you sigh every time the professor starts a new subject – just because you want class to be over early. i don’t want to hear you whine and complain to your neighbor. especially when you don’t know what a freaking WHISPER is for. you are behind my ear. the instructor is all the way in the front. in a huge auditorium. whose voice is going to carry to my ear better? yours. and that annoys me.

because my parents aren’t paying for my school. i’m not there to party, to hookup, to have a good time. i’m there to learn. and you’re impeding that. don’t make me waste my hard-earned money because all i can hear is you.

do it again and we’ll meet after class. it won’t be pleasant, be-yatch. i WILL stomp your ass. and probably – no, defintely – enjoy it.

i’m listening to bluegrass and old country music on my iTunes. reminds me of home.

*sniffle*

class was okay last night. but both instructors are talkers. i think tuesday could be a long night. with lots of note-taking. however, at least neither of them are boring. but it’ll be a lot of work. i’ll talk more about it later, most likely.

wednesdays are going to suck until i get into more of a routine. because it’s the 2nd day of classes and i don’t get to go to bed early the night before (class goes until 9.40 or so, and i don’t even get to my car until 10).

if i go by the standard formula, for 12 hours of classes i need to study 24 hours. even with 3 hours each night on M, Th, F, that’s still 13 hours on the weekend. over 6 a day.

yikes. i’m going to have to be an excellent time manager.

if i’m not too tired. *sigh*

there are some great features to love in ee. and i’m lovin’ them. especially the comment expiration tool. awesomeness.
