feeling restless this morning. not sure if it’s the rain or things in general. i’m feeling stuck right now. i haven’t put my finger on it so i can address it yet.
j comes home for a bit this morning. that’s good. but a lot of trips have been canceled this month – which means he’s in limbo AND without much of a paycheck. yuk.
had lunch with this freak yesterday. he mentioned that we didn’t talk about blogging. i didn’t pay attention, but realized he’s right. i guess we’ve known each other long enough now to move past that as our only conversation piece. i think that’s kinda cool. ![]()
school for the next 3 nights. yippee!!!
first, there was a shooting near mikey & joelle’s (it was later deemed a suicide). and now a high speed chase ends in someone getting shot. waaaaaay to close to my home. fuckin’ a! what happened to my ‘hood? i think i might move. yeesh!
today is the 50th anniversary of the reading of Allen Ginsberg’s Howl at Gallery Six. while i’m not a terribly big fan of the poem, i do understand its significance.
wow, don’t you feel better knowing that?
we watched about a 1/2 hour of atomic cafe. the propaganda they used during WWII looks so hokey now. but people believed so much of it! and when they talked about the rosenbergs, i couldn’t help but cry. it makes me so sad to hear what happened to them, especially the fact that ethel wasn’t guilty, they executed her after her husband, and she didn’t die right away. god forgive us.
i forgot that today was a banking and post office holiday. even my mom’s office got to take the day off. i called her.
“hi mom”
“hello daughter”
“so, you got columbus day off, huh?”
“yeeeeesssss”
“hmmmm”
“what?”
i just got back from a wedding of a very good friend of mine. we’d lost touch for a while, but she’s always in my heart. because of this friend, i met my husband.
she looked so happy and lovely. i’m proud of how far she’s come and so pleased that she’s found the love of her life. i wish them much happiness and lifelong love.
now it’s time to download the pics off of my camera. g’nite.
the photos from skits’ birthday are finally up.
what? it’s been a busy week.

i got my test back last night. yes, keith, curve.
i thought i didn’t cover enough territory on my essay. he only said i should have provided examples. apparently, his expectations aren’t as high as i thought, or i REALLY bs’d my way through.
i got a 70. that turns out to be a “b.” yippee!!!!
