i put a few more photos in the la jolla gallery and fixed the ones where the sky looked striped (too much compression). i also finally loaded a few pics from palm springs – it’s been sitting empty for a while.
i still have some more la jolla pics to go, but the day just didn’t turn out the way i wanted. everything looked blah. while it’s beautiful there, it’s pretty bland as far as the type of pictures i like to take. i think i prefer downtown.
oh, i do have some more downtown photos to work up, too, from the first day i got my camera. i may just add those to the front of the downtown album.

here’s the weather for about the past month or so:
cold.
rain.
cold, cold, rain.
rain, rain, rain, rain, cold. rain.
cold, rain, clear.
HOT.
wtf?
add to that the fact that one side of our office is warm and the other is freeze-off-your-extraneous-body-parts cold, and i don’t know how the hell i’m supposed to dress in the mornings.
and now i’m sick. j was sick, and i thought i had gotten by with just a mild case. until monday when it hit me like a big ole safe dropped on a cartoon character. i hurt. my head feels like it’s huge, bloated and ready to burst any moment. i’m tempted to add a drain plug to get rid of the mucus. i can’t pop my ears. the pressure is killing me. i ache. i’m tired. i walk around like a zombie. but i have tons of work to do, so i just try to avoid everyone i can so i don’t spread my disease more than i have to.
hmmm, anyone you want me to take out for you? one cough and they’re history. }->
so that’s all for now. i think. but i’m probably forgetting something, thanks to the medicine. makes me antsy, but at least it gets the junk out of my lungs. mmmmm.
