found the script that closes comments after a period of time. finally. hunted and hunted to find one that was straightforward to a barely-techie like me. i’ll post links and thanks later, but for now, at least i’m not getting 50 spams an hour on very old entries. i knew i’d have to do it eventually, but this forced me to take care of it NOW. ugh. happy holidays to you, too, fuckers (spamdongs).
