I’m looking for a copy of a Vince Gill video called “Just Look At Us.” It features many extras and my great aunt & uncle were in it briefly. They’re both gone now and I’d like to get my hands on the video.
Anyone have it? Know someone that does? Thanks.

I’m from the south. While I don’t really consider it the south – more of the midwest, in fact – other people seem to. After all, my state did (& I cringe to think of it) fight for the south during the civil war.
In spite of this fact, I still know how to pronounce most things.
I called my wireless company this morning to have them change some information on my account. I couldn’t access it online and customer service sent me to their internet department.
Now, I worked for this same company a few years ago and I knew the manager of the internet dept from its inception. But since then, they have closed the local office and it appears that whomever I spoke with was 1) from the south and 2) not very bright. And it disappoints me because 1) even if you have an accent you should be able to properly pronounce words like “discover” and 2) I can’t believe that company would hire someone so dense.
I told the girl at least five times what I needed. It was simple. I wanted to update my credit card expiration date. I told her it was auto billed. I told her that I had already tried to do it online and it gave me an error. I told her what type of card and the new expiration date. She kept having me try to make the change online. I kept telling her the error message. She kept asking me about the wrong card type. I kept telling her that wasn’t the right one. I finally told her I didn’t have time to deal with it and I would try again later.
I told her several times that there was a problem with the website – it told me that my account info wasn’t available. Is it me, or is that so hard to understand?
And it’s frustrating when companies don’t adequately train their employees in a technical job. Grrrr.
Did I mention that it’s “discover” and not “discovery”? Discovery is a legal term regarding information disclosure. Discovery is a channel on cable. Discovery could happen to an unknown in Hollywood, but it’s not likely. It is not, however, a freakin’ credit card. Capiche?
Regional issues be damned, your employees should present a professional front and this dumb-as-a-stump girl definitely did not. I can engage in SouthernSpeak
